It is also much less expensive than other comperable brand name hotels so very good value for money.
The hotels meets the highest western standards for a reasonable price, the staff were helpful and friendly, rooms were neat clean.
We joked that if the hotel saved money on electricity they could use it to shampoo the dirty carpet in the room.
The location's good and the Hotel is centrally located near Esplanade Stn / Chowrangee.
Very good location, near Sudder street and the hotel staff were friendly and helpful.

Whenever our room was cleaned or the bed was turned down, the air conditioning was turned back on until we stuck a post-it note on the switch asking that it be left off.
Staff was also courteous and our bed was comfortable.

I explained that if I asked if there was hot water in my taps, would they need to send someone to my room to answer the question.
Breakfast in the coffee shop was good, the hotel was clean quiet and the first impression at the front desk was very much impressive.
Hotel restaurant Athiti serves excellent Bengali food, the service was also very good and the room was fairly large and clean.
The rooms are good, food is great particularly the Bengali restaurant.
The food at the Oberoi is a better value than the restaurants or room service at the Peerless.
Additionally the buffet breakfast is awesome.
Wonderful hotel in the center of Kolkata, reception staff was very friendly and food were all nearly very good.
When we arrived at the Peerless Inn (quite desperate for a room), the staff at the reception asked several times "Are you really able to pay?
On the night before we left I asked for the bill and the rest of the advance but the reception staff told me to wait till the next morning.
The Location is too good, this Hotel is a cool place to stay at and staff is very helpful and accommodating.
Good for budget shopping and their staff the most courteous.
Also overall stay is fantastic and service is excellent.
Worth the money we paid and very spacious lobby.
