The price I paid was a tremendous value for the hotel.
Overall I would thoroughly recommend this hotel for both business and leisure stays for both quality and value for money.
We won't be staying here again as I'm sure there are many other Chicago hotels that offer better value for money.
I've been to some crappy hotels lately and this one was sooooo nice in comparison, and though all hotels are little overpriced for what you really cost them in resources, this one was worth going to if you can afford it.

The hotel doesn't have a restaurant as such, there is an American style dinner that serves breakfast thru to dinner but there is a great selection of restaurants located within a short walk from the hotel.
Good selection of restaurants, too -- room service breakfast was outstanding, while the Railroad Bar and Grill was quick and satisfying.
We ate at all 3 of the hotel's on-site restaurants & had great food in each, although, the waiters in the bar area of the "Big Downtown" could have been friendlier.
The hotel's location is a little out of the way if you're looking to shop and do the bar/restaurant circuit.
We didin't eat or have drinks at the hotel but they have opened a new restaurant and bar in the lobby.

Having elevators go to just certain floors can cause some confusion, but it greatly speeded up elevator service for those of us who remember the way they had been.
