I have stayed in the double room with coffee/tea making machines and a lounge. The hotel has a central location close to the 02 Academy where I had booked a gig.

The hotel was located right by the custard factory and lovely old building as well as the Digbeth. Everybody was outstandingly accommodating and the room was airy. The breakfast had a huge variety of nice food and drinks. Nothing too much trouble, the venue exceeded high expectations, can recommend it.
Some people working there were kind of rude.

The location of the hotel was great, being close to popular attractions and within walking distance of public transportation. Another positive aspect was the friendly staff who were helpful and accommodating. the cleanliness of the rooms was impressive and made for a comfortable stay.
The noise level, especially from the traffic on the main road. It was quite loud and could be disruptive, especially for light sleepers.

I recently stayed at a charming hotel in the heart of the city. The location couldn't have been better, with bars and cafes right outside the door. The building itself had a lovely old character, retaining its historic charm. The beer garden was a fantastic spot to relax and enjoy a drink. The food served in the pub was delicious, and the service was friendly and efficient. I also appreciated the modern facilities available in this historic establishment.
There were a few drawbacks to my stay. The room I was in was a bit noisy due to its proximity to a pub and a courtyard that played loud music until late at night.

Location: the hotel was really close to nice old pub with plenty of character, an up-and-coming regenerated industrial area-lots of co-working spaces, bars and street art and O2 Institute...

The value for money at The Old Crown was amazing, with a shared room costing only £45 a night! The room was lovely and full of history, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and even allowed us to keep our bikes inside overnight. The location was perfect, right on the edge of the industrial area with its canals and old factories, and close to the bus station, Bullring, and other amenities. The atmosphere in the outside bar was lively and vibrant, with young people enjoying themselves without being glued to their mobiles. Showers and toilets were spotlessly clean.
The breakfast selection could be improved with more variety of options.
