The hotel restaurants have got a lot nmore expensive in the last year and are no longer good value for money.
Expect to pay 5 star hotel prices for a room, meals and amenities, but you won't be dissapointed.
So I do recommend it but keep in mind that most things at the hotel will cost stupid prices so would recommend being cautious.
The rooms are still a lot worse than those of hotels of this price range.
Located on Marine Drive, nice location for Mumbai, easy to get to.
Previously, I have stayed at Tajmahal hotel, so I thought I would try this out for a change and also for the nice location around Nariman point.
Nice location in Mumbai and the arabian sea spectacular.
The airport transfer was flawless and sofa - made for a very comfortable stay.
Location to business district is walking distance but allow 2 hours to the airport and I recommend booking the hotel cars for your transfers.
On the upside, our bed was incredibly comfortable and the room was very intelligently designed, particularly the bathroom.
Room decor was not my cup of tea (colonial wood, I prefer more modern) but very clean, great bed/bathroom.
My room was very good, comfortable bed, up market toiletries etc.
I craved for a comfortable bed most after a gruelling day out on the Indian streets but was dissappointed with their new but staid old american beds here.
Huge bed, great bathroom, a small couch, and desk.
This was as good as the best Conran restaurants in London, as was the breakfast and lunch restaurant, Tiffin.
The restaurants too are superb, particularly "Kandahar" the Indian restaurant, specialising in grills and proving the point that Indian food is NOT all tongue-burning but can be subtle and delicately flavoured!
Food in the vairous restaurants is good, and as the hotel is linked to the Hilton Towers you can also dine at the restaurants there and charge the bill to your room, giving you more choice.
Never hurts to avoid the hotel restaurants & eat out where the locals do except you want to come back to the lap of luxury.
Food isn’t the greatest and would recommend exploring the many great restaurants in Mumbai.
The meticulously appointed rooms offer panoramic views of the ocean, the shops in the mall attached to the hotel are excellent and the guest service is good at every point be the reception.
In summary: well located city/business hotel, staff were genuinely helpful and sincere, our room service breakfast was delicious - plus.

Great short stay style hotel and the service was really good right from the reception.
Oberoi ( through Booked.net, for example), dont hesitate and go there: comfort, great service, great gym and access to the pool of the Hilton, much better tnah the one of the Hotel.
Waiting for the lifts can drive you crazy in the end.
Use the Hilton Towers pool which is so deep you need scuba gear to reach the bottom.
The room was clean, the food was pretty excellent too especially the Indian breads in the morning.
The check in is fast and the rooms are spacious, clean and very much on par with some of the best hotels in the world.
