The location is quiet close to all the facilities at Dupont Circle and the general ambiance of the hotel is comfortable.

The lovely location, thaiphoon on S Street for good Thai and nice running/cycling path nearby.

The location was ideal and hotel staff was courteous and efficient.

The bus is only a long block away, and the metro is just a 10 minute walk down to DuPont Circle.

Take Metro and Marc train from Union Station.

Room and bed were comfortable; shower worked well and bathroom was in good shape.

My husband and I loved this hotel's quaint European atmosphere, comfortable public rooms, cleanliness, nice room with comfortable bed.

I stayed here last week and the room was really small, the bed was hard as a rock, hallways and carpet were dark/dingy, no work-out room, and there was no hot water for the shower one morning.

We booked a double queen room with the most comfortable bed either of us had ever slept in.

A highlight was the bed – large and flat, best of the trip by far (and compared against some much more expensive rooms).

We had lunch at Woodley's, a neighborhood bar which was about six blocks north near the zoo, and we had dinner at Odeon's, an Italian restaurant about four blocks south of the hotel.

No restaurant and "Continental" breakfast only, but if you are like us and prefer to eat locally anyway, it isn't an issue, and there is coffee always available in the lobby.

We did not eat breakfast there, but there are lots of places within walking distance for great breakfasts,--try Afterwords Cafe in the Kramer Bookstore or The Diner in Adams-Morgan.

The shower was amazing, a neighborhood bar was about six blocks north near the zoo and continental breakfast including smoked salmon.

Given that the hotel is located in walking distance to hundreds of restaurants in Adam Morgan and Dupont Circle - not having an on-site restaurant was not an issue.

The front desk staff was very helpful when we needed advice or directions.

Capuccino available in the lobby and helpful staff.

In addition free printing in the lobby and lovely service.

Location was great and the lobby was beautiful.

They do not have adequate parking on site.

The lobby is very appealing with big plush chairs and coffee is available all day.

The free wired high speed internet access worked perfectly.

Good clean rooms and a wonderful breakfast buffet.

The room, although not large, was very nicely fitted out, reasonably newish and perfectly clean.

The bathroom was a little older, but very functional and again very clean.

The bathroom was clean and roomy and all of the plumbing worked well.

The hotel itslef is very pleasant rooms are average size but user firendly and clean.
