If you're looking for a charming, historic place to stay, the Marlborough Head Inn is the perfect choice. Located in the heart of Dedham, this 17th-century inn offers a unique experience with its wonky floors and big fireplaces. The rooms are comfortable and modest, with authentic details like four-poster beds. Plus, you'll be surrounded by the beauty of the old village, with links to the famous artist John Constable. You can also enjoy good pub food on-site and explore the lovely tea room across the road.
The bathroom could use some improvement, as the shower setup is not very practical.

The inn's location is very convenient for exploring the surrounding area. We also appreciated the comfortable bed and the fact that the staff was friendly and helpful with recommendations.
The bathroom was quite small and outdated. the noise level from the neighboring rooms was very high, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

The hotel had a great log fire which made the atmosphere very cozy for our Christmas stay. the food was really good with a generous portion size. The hotel is located in an ideal location, perfect for exploring the local area during the day.
Although the hotel was generally clean, the en-suite was in need of some refurbishment. The shower was old and difficult to use.
