I would recommend this hotel to every one going to Phuket and Kamala Beach. The hotel is situated in the center of Kamala Town and 50meters from the beach. The staff is marvelous and beyond nice. They help you with whatever you need. Also you can book trips through the hotel and the rooms are modern, clean and very nice. The hotel is perfect for adults travelling alone, groups or in pair. You will never regret staying at this hotel. I am coming back, for sure!

Cleanliness is the best ever i've come across so far, even better than 5-star hotel I stayed in Karon Beach, nice location with only short walking distance to the beach.

The only negative point would be limited choice of breakfast, no sausage / ham etc but for the price you paid. My stay is far way beyond expectation

The hotel didn't have a swimming pool, which was a downside for me. I would have preferred to have a pool to relax and cool off in during my stay.

We absolutely loved our stay. From the reviews i read (there were about 36), thought the breakfast provided would be a very simple affair. We imagined toast bread and butter at most. However, we were pleasantly suprised to see a good range of fried rice, sausages, breads, cereals, juices and an egg station. It was halal too which suits us 4 muslim travellers. On top of that, owners (the sisters) were very accomodative, rooms spacious and clean too. Overall, a great value for money.

The rooms at The Mareeya Place are well-appointed with all the necessary amenities like a coffee machine, fridge, safety deposit box, and flat-screen TV. I loved the private bathrooms with showers that had complimentary toiletries and hair dryers. The air-conditioned rooms offered a comfortable stay, with the bonus of a wardrobe and a terrace. The views of the ocean from the well-appointed rooms were absolutely stunning.

Personally, I found the soundproofing in the double room a bit lacking.

The lady running this place is so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. They also run an ajoining taxi/bus/travel agency so organising transport to our next port of call was very easy. The room was lovely, clean and modern. Bed and bathroom very nice. Breakfast was good too. Definitely value for money.

The staff were friendly and helpful, always making sure I had everything I needed. The breakfast provided a good variety of options to choose from. it was a great value for the money.

That it was a bit of a walk to the more upscale restaurants. However, there were plenty of smaller, local eateries nearby that offered delicious meals.

A wonderful location , and the standard of cleanliness was absolutely impeccable , Mareeya could not do enough for you . Kamala is a beautiful location for those wishing peace & quiet.

Didn't have elevator, but it is a minor problem...the shower was a littler of problem without hot water

We loved this hotel!! It was definately worth the money, the staff were so lovely and friendly, and the room was lovely, and the housekeeping was amazing! Just what you need to relax. Only a short walk to the beach. They have a lot of info on things you can do and see while in Phuket and were more than helpful with arranging transport. Loved our stay here!
