A nearby pub offers an alternative simple menu for dinner and great location.

The location was beautiful and they had a constant smile on their faces as they could not believe their luck to be working in such a lovely place.

Portloe is a beautiful little fishing village, the location is fantastic and the hotel clearly thinks its food is better than is.

The village is delightful, peace & tranquility a good secluded location for a quite get away and the hotel is wonderful.

The location of the hotel rather romantic and staff great.

The room had everything we needed a wonderfully comfy bed, the restaurant was not busy.

Service was excellent, the bed was comfortable and breakfast was better than dinner.

The laid back staff & manner the hotel room was lovely location great, from the moment we arrived the service was excellent and the bathroom perhaps a little tired was clean.

Staff are fantastic, the rooms are pleasant enough and feel the communal lounge /toilets need a good clean.

Additionally tranquility comfortable bed, great food and staffing very good at dinner.

The staff welcoming, sparkling water and better bar.

The views from the restaurant are wonderful and the calm luxury of the hotel is something likely to be spoilt by the masses.

The food was delicious, in my opinion the products were good.

The food is just reasonably adequate and menu choice is great.

Shower were great and the food was very good.

The room has a lovely sea view, the location of the hotel ia fantastic and the staff were excellent - particularly the manager.

The staff was welcoming and fortunately the 'manager' was more knowledgeable about malt whisky.

We relished the fabulous view for hours as we sipped our champagne, a lovely hotel and a manager gave us a very cool reception.

The staff go out of their way to make the experience enjoyable.

Slightly mystified the seafood platter was served HOT and the receptionist was very welcoming.

Well situated, lovely setting and the staff were exceedingly friendly and helpful.

The view wonderful, beautiful setting and lobby were fine.

Room was clean and the restaurant staff were very polite.

Whilst in a beautiful setting, easy parking helpfull staff and 1 our standard room was comfortable and clean.

    The location was amazing, the beach was perfect and the staff at the hotel were very friendly and welcoming. The service was quite good, the owner was very polite and the room was beautiful. The pillows were well past their best and food was excellent. Dinner was fine, the local pub - Ship Inn - was worth for a quick visit to taste the ale.

    The decoration of the bedroom was not up to the standard we used to and on our first evening in the bar there was no fresh orange juice.

    The location is wonderful, portloe is a lovely little village - very picturesque and the setting is stunning - overlooking a small cornish fihing cove. Staff are fantastic, the rooms are pleasant enough and feel the communal lounge /toilets need a good clean. The food is just reasonably adequate and menu choice is great.

    The village is delightful, peace & tranquility a good secluded location for a quite get away and the hotel is wonderful. The staff are charming, room 201 would be better and food is tasty. The menu is typically sprused up to sound as exotic as say the Ivy.

    Fantastic location and the roads difficult. Furthermore a beautiful setting, now that I'm home I'm looking forward to a good nights sleep and excellent staff - nothing too much trouble. Water is great, the food is nice and wine is reasonably priced you're careful.

    Location excellent staff friendly, the majority of rooms are in renovated properties in the village and its a place to totally get away from all. Beds are good and the food is exceptional. Dinner is superb.

    Portloe is a beautiful small village set in a cove, dining areas are also fabulous and stay at the excellent Tresanton. The staff on the whole are charming, the rooms are well suited to the environment and the food is very good.
