Lighthouse Inn Resort New London - 新伦敦

The hotel has a great location within walking distance to private beach and Ocean Beach Boardwalk.

We loved the food and needed the location, but were shocked by how many of our guests' reservations were bungled.

We actually are timeshare owners thru RCI and exchanged to this location.

In this room, we found dirty, used tissues and gum under the bed, I stepped on a sharp piece of metal in the bathroom and one of the towels had blood stains on it.

The guest room was lovely, the décor, the canopy bed and balcony was wonderful.

The carpets throughout the place were very OLD, the bathroom door got stuck in the open position, the jets in the tub did not work, the bed was lumpy, the wall paper was stained and to top it all off there was no refrig.

We stayed in the wonderful, historic mansion in a big, beautifully decorated victorian room with period antiques and a four poster canopy bed.

The room has a TV which I will say is small maybe 20 inch and is off to the side of the bed, so if you are looking to sit up in bed and watch TV it may not be the best.

Breakfast is no more than some muffins and pastries, but the restaurant for dinner was packed so I would assume it's good.

The restaurant has the best food in the state.

We were greeted by a friendly smile and excellent food at there restaurant.

The food was outstanding, and the continental breakfast was perfect.

By the time we arrived for breakfast (9 am) most of the food was gone and there was only decaf coffee left on the table.

Hotel staff was pleasant and helpful, the front desk manager worked out an excellent rate, the guest room was lovely.

The beach and pool were quite relaxing- with the beach being a one minute walk.

The food was out of this world~~ the spa and massage were good.

While we were there they were filling the fountain with water for the summer and getting the pool ready for the Memorial weekend.

I did however find free wireless access, but it's not a great connection.

The rooms were very clean and the main house of the resort was gorgeous.
