Lenox - Back Bay Boston - 波士顿

We were located near shopping, excellent location made our stay very memorable and the staff were very helpful.

The hotel was clean efficent and situated in a perfect location near the many shops.

You can't get a better location than where the Lenox is located.

Cabs to airport ~$30, Shuttle $12 per person, Subway $1.

Taxi to Logan is about $30-35 and 15-25 mins, subway is $2 and about 45 mins via green and blue lines.

They restock the bottle water, clean the bathroom and towels, and refresh the bed and bath robes.

Our room,a superior king on ninth floor,had the most comfortable bed you could want,was exceptionaly clean(and kept that way by very attentive housekeeping services), marble bathroom with aveyda bath products.

Our room was beautifully decorated, a very comfortable king-size bed, a good-sized bathroom and a separate closet for our coats, etc.

The rooms are quite, the bed is comfortable and the black-out drapes truly keep the room dark.

When we arrived, the hotel had overbooked the king sized bed that we reserved and gave us a room with 2 double beds ( We were able to switch to a room with a king bed the second night).

The rooms are luxurious, breakfast in the restaurant is good value and the Irish bar is great.

We ate in the Azure restaurant for breakfast every day and found the food great and the service very good.

We ate in the restaurant Azure once, good food, but the waiter was very brusque, NOT the usual service we received from other restaurants.

We asked the concierge for a fast casual place to eat on our way to Fenway - she could only offer up that the hotel's bar / restaurant was fast - but could not point us to a Subway or other sandwich shop.

We ate breakfast in The Azure restaurant every morning which was delicious and really set us up for the day.

Service from all staff was friendly and unpretentious, Concierge very helpful.

The concierge, reception and portering staff - not to mention the waiting staff at breakfast were all very friendly, courteous and helpful.

Car parking available next door in the underground Prudential complex although most folk seem to use the hotel valet service.

On the down side, the lobby and elevator areas were quite scruffy and made me feel like I wanted to check out before I had even seen the room.

One of two elevators were broken for 2 days, other elevator was very slow and tiny.

My laptop does not have a wireless card, but the Lenox had a high speed bridge that I was able to use for free for the length of my stay.

There was free wi-fi through-out the hotel and they had a business centre which was also free.

The room was clean on arrival and kept spotless throughout our stay.

The staff was excellent, the room was spacious and the sidewalks were kept very clean of snow - which made walking to and from the building easy.

However, when I got into the room, it was clear it was a smoking room and, to a non-smoker, was pretty unpleasant.

It is small and has character - some might balk at the overly ornate decor in the public areas, but the hotel clean and very comfortable and the rooms are much more soothing.
