The people working at the hotel added value to our holiday through their warmth, friendliness and helpfulness.

Wireless internet is available in the room for 100 baht for 70 minutes or the same price using the hotels computers in the lobby.

I liked this hotel very much but would recommend spending the extra money for the exceptional Anantara resort.

MY TRAVEL STYLE: I hate business hotels and strongly prefer resorts that resemble the Four Seasons, Aman, and Oberoi but try to find similar properties at lower cost.

Chiang Rai is ideally situated for interesting trips to the surrounding countryside and the location is perfect.

The pool is a quiet infinity pool set alongside the river and a great location from to explore the delights of Northern Thailand.

Interesting Kok River, the location of the resort was fantastic and the service at the hotel was fine.

I'd recommend this resort for its location, style and friendly atmosphere.

Not sure about cost from Chiang Rai Airport.

TV/INTERNET: TV in room is smaller than average but close to bed so it’s not a big deal.

Although there is a mosquito net over the bed, the staff come in each night and spray the rooms anyway.

BATHROOM/SHOWER: Shower and toilet are in different rooms.

The whole setting is beautifully designed and the Studio rooms are plenty big.

The bed was big and cosy, particularly the hot food - waffles were cold, gardens were beautiful.

Good food at the restaurant in a romantic setting, the staff sweet and the rooms were fantastic.

The restaurant's menus are perhaps a little ambitious for the small size of the resort but I certainly had above average food and the setting is perfect.

We enjoyed the restaurant and thought the food was of a good standard , the staff too were charming and enthusiastic.

I thought breakfasts were fine and on the first night there was a BBQ which had a good choice of food.

The restaurant has a magnificent view on the river, beautiful place and amenities designed in traditional Thai style.

The staff there were great and the room was clean.

We stayed in a standard room - although quite small, it had a lovely setting, a large balcony and was immaculately clean.

I got quite sunburned and several times a day staff would bring me chilled fresh aloe to my room for the remainder of my stay.

Good views, the pool is a quiet infinity pool set alongside the river and the whole setting is beautifully designed. The spa service is very nice, the rooms are spacious and the breakfast is great.

The view is lovely and chiang Rai is ideally situated for interesting trips to the surrounding countryside. Food quality is excellent and the rooms are very much of a minimalist style spacious. Beds are very comfortable and for dinner I chose to eat out at the incredibly cheap.

Our grand deluxe river view rooms were superb and outside restaurant was nice setting. The service was excellent and the apartment was great. The food was good, the private pool was perfect for relaxing.

The bar by the river was very pleasant, nice attractions to discover : was a really GREAT experience for the whole family and the room at this hotel was fantastic. The staff too were charming and enthusiastic, the food was very good.
