Latham Hotel Washington - 华盛顿哥伦比亚

Excellent location and the hotel is very well located.

The location is excellent, the hotel is very well located and the in-house restaurant is supposed to be very good.

The Latham is located right in Georgetown, cannot beat the location.

Walking distance to foggy bottom metro subway.

From the hotel, you are walking distance to the Foggy Bottom metro, a few blocks from the Potomac River, a few blocks from Georgetown University, and a short taxi ride away from all of the major tourist attractions and monuments.

Ended up in the 8th floor in a corner room that was very nice, king bed, beautiful sheets and covers, turn down service, 2 windows and a nicely done bathroom and great shampoo, lotion etc.

Bathrooms were small, but the room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

Good: great location -- central Georgetown, luxury toiletries (Rusk, when I was there), towel warmer in the bathroom, decent (and clean) sheets on the bed.

Of the 3 rooms we viewed during our 5-day stay, we saw peeled wall paper, loose tiles and mildew/mold damage in the bathrooms, air conditioners that were very noisy, ceilings in the bedrooms with water damage, etc.

The first room that we were given was really nice (despite the small bed), but the heat did not work properly.

The well-renown Citronelle restaurant is located in the hotel, but there is no place to eat breakfast or lunch inside the hotel.

Just a ton of restaurants nearby and I chose one @ the corner called Paper Moon which was a very good late night choice, good chianti at the bar, nice pasta and it was a 1 minute walk.

I especially liked the breakfast vouchers at the Madeline Cafe, which was so much better than the usual hotel breakfasts one gets in America.

Breakfast is provided by an adjacent restaurant.

Also, the hotel did not have a cafe or restaurant, so everyone had to go out to M street to get breakfast.

Front desk was very helpful in printing out my tickets, very attentive staff and the turndown service was a nice touch.

There is no concierge and the front desk staff were friendly albeit inaccurate with some information.

We found the reception staff very friendly and accommodating, as well as the concierge and porters.

I was told that "passes" were available to the gym 2 blocks away if I wanted to go there.

C the temperature was 101 Farenheit and after a long day watching monuments and museums it was very nice to take a swim and cool down in the pool at the hotel roof.

Unfortunately, the pool was cover by a blue tarp.

Wireless high-speed internet service by iBahn was very good and for $10.

The service was was excellent, room was very clean and quiet, we were near many great restaurants.

The rooms are very nice, loved the clean white sheets.

The rooms were super clean and comfortable.

Room was clean, yet small, but accomodated our needs.

The hotel staff was great, the rooms were clean and nice and you were right in the middle of the historical section of Georgetowns shopping , restaurants, and bars.
