You also pay half the price of other nearby hotels.
I've stayed in motels and hotels of ALL prices and service ratings; from Day's Inns to suites at The Four Seasons.
It is an inner-city boutique style hotel, that has a great price, great location, and great people.
For the money and the location this hotel was beyond expectations.
The location is fine and the hotel is located near Rittenhouse Square.
Great location, close to shopping, food, everything.
The location excellent and we parked nearby for $21 - not too bad.
I was greeted off the subway by an unwanted homeless friend, who showed me to my hotel.
If you visit this hotel, I suggest finding other parking or take a taxi.
In spite of this, there are some redeeming features: My corner room on the 9th floor was spacious and had lots of natural light, the bed and bath linens were clean and in good shape, and there was plenty of hot water in the shower.
Stayed last summer for 2 nites and had a great room, very quiet, very clean and comfortable bed.
The room was charming, although a bit small, but considering the location and price we paid - $129 for King bed with AAA discount, it was fair.
The downside was that the rooms appear not to have been upgraded for a LONG time (possibly years) and the bed was not comfortable.

Not only is the full service restaurant (Jolly's) very good, the hotel offers a piano bar/ cocktail lounge at the other side of the lobby.
Additionally, there was nothing to eat/drink in the hotel as there is no restaurant/bar, etc.
Restaurant is under renovation, but there are a million restaurants in the surrounding area to choose from depending on your mood.
The only thing they could improve on was the breakfast at the Jolly restaurant downstairs -- it came with the deal -- eggs overcooked, and we had to wait.
We didn't get to make use of the restaurant/bar in the hotel, but it looked like fun.
The lobby staff was very friendly we checked in, service was great - valets and another receptionist was helpful.
The staff was rude; after guffawing at my question whether room service was available, the front desk clerk pointed to a copy of the Where magazine when I asked if there was anything close and quick.
We didn't take advantage of the valet parking in an effort to save money.
There are plenty of parking garages in the area.
The nicest space in the building is the small, wood-paneled lobby; but even there, there is an offensive smell.
We made use of the complementary wireless internet access.
I tried to use the wireless connection there are no instructions and know one to help.
Bathroom was clean, the facilities were charming.
The bathroom was again small, bright and clean -- but what more can you ask?
