The location was excellent, the hotel was very well located and efficient barman gave a welcoming service.

We booked a "Family Room" which consisted of a double bed, a sitting area, and a separate area which held bunk beds.

We stayed in room 555 which had a double bed, quite a large bathroom and a separate seating area.

If guests are asked to pre-book breakfast at reception, then the restaurant should have a list of who has booked.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed out stay at the Thistle hotel and location is ideal for secure car parking and exploring the rich Scottish culture in lovely Edinburgh.

You have to stay here - ok, theres no pool - but with so much to do in Edinburgh, you wont even think about swimming!
