Since our strategy was to pay for a nice hotel, and then take it easy on food prices, only eating out for dinner, if we could manage it, we found it convenient that there are several grocers nearby, and the fruit market on Havelska was a godsend.
The hotel may be more expensive than others in Prague, but in our opinion, it was well worth the price and we'd not think twice about re-booking the next time we visit Prague.
We were unable to exchange money in the hotel as Scottish money is not legal tender apparently!
I know that outside noise is not the hotels fault but if I am paying 400-500 a night for a "5 star" hotel I expect to be able to get a good night sleep at least by midnight.

We would probably stay in this hotel again, because of its location, but we would have to remember that it is about a 2 or 3 star hotel by most traveler's standards.
We were delivered to the door by Cedaz - the airport minibus service - at a cost of 480 Crowns (£12) which is much less than a taxi but just as convenient.
It's a very short walk to anywhere in the Old Town- minutes to the old Town Square, Clock Tower (where you can buy the Prague Card & Metro/Tram Passes),and Mustek Metro station.

Our room was a Deluxe Suite, which had a bedroom with a "king size" bed (two twins pushed together), a sitting area, and a large bathroom.

There is a restaurant (unfortunately we didnt try it), and a cafe bar where you have breakfast, and can have lunch and evening food too.
Breakfast is served in the coffee shop off the central courtyard and there is a restaurant as well for meals in the evening, slightly more formal with live music on the night we ate there.
Breakfast was served in a small room near the bar or if the weather was good outside in the courtyard.
Only one recommendation do not eat in the hotel restaurant the food is lovely but is very expensive.

Staff were without exception friendly and helpful - especially those in reception and the concierge.
The level of service from all staff was impeccable, all spoke perfect English, and were very willing to carry bags, book tickets, make reservations etc.
