Geographical position. Rent a bike service.

Beware this hotel applies surbooking! Then they propose rooms with interesting rate, but the do not respect it. Ask for copy of agreed prices. Moreover they charge local taxes althought it is mentionned as incluced.

The hotel location was ok, we were able to go to main attractions by foot and the public transportation is 3-blocks away only. The service during breakfast was very nice with good relation cost x benefit (EUR 8,50). Remark: Rembrandt was our first experience with Booked.net service, we really got what we bought, however, we noticed that the booking alternatives available at the site are restricted to few units and sometimes the hotel can have better alternative at the equivalent cost.

In our opinion the worst was the bathroom, old and very small, needs refurbishment. We booked the room with canal view, the way to get there was actually weird, we needed to go through corridors, sometimes with low roof and several steps everything carrying our own luggage. The room was exactly like the picture we saw but it seemed neglected and it didn't seemed cozy to us. Additionally, the wi-fi service was not available in our room (maybe the distance was too long).

The location was quite good. Beside the canal. Walking distance to dam square and central station. The room was clean and comfortable with a nice view of the canal. The room service was also good.

Everything was good - as expected. The staff was excellent. Location excellent. Overall, a good place to stay and I would stay again.

Very costly cab to airport. If you need to head to airport early in the morning the shuttle does not run. $80 US Dollars to airport.

        Good location

After one night only I got bitten at least 20 times by bed bugs. The same thing happened to my two friends who stayed in the same room with me. I find this unacceptable, especially since we paid 180 euro for one night only. Furthermore, the ceiling in the shower is only 1.80cm, which makes it kind of difficult to take a shower when you are 1.97 like me. I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone!

It was very coveniently situated within walking distance of the Central Station and the main tourist sites. It was beside one of the main canals and so had the charm of old Amsterdam plus the quiet - because the main form of transport was the bicycle.

The location on the Herengracht canal was perfect - quiet and safe yet only aroudn the corner from the busy streets and 5 minute walk from the Dam. The view from the "canal view room" was lovely.

The smell in the lobby was very strange and the receptionist was a small bit rude during check-in. Also there was a smell of smoke throughout the hotel even though there were "no smoking" signs everywhere. The room was spotlessly clean but the lobby and halls weren't maintained as well.

The location was wonderful and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

It was a bit loud. I could clearly hear people coming and going during the night and the kitchen in the mornings.

        The location was excellant

Some staff members were not helpful at all. The room was hot and several staff members didn't care to help. It wasn't until the next day did we get some resolve to the issue. At times the internet we paid for didn't work, again staff members didn't seem interesting in helping. Lastly, we booked a bike tour at the hotel desk and when we went to the meeting place no one there knew anything about our deposit or our reservation. Luckily they believed us and charged us only for the balance and let us go on the tour.
