House Hotel Galway

In terms of location the hotel couldn't be better - right next to the Spanish Arch and at the bottom of Quay Street.

The location is also perfect, so close to everything, but not in the middle of all of the noise.

The location, right below Quay St, is ideal for exploring Galway, convenient to Eyre Square and close to all the shops, pubs, restaurants and tour operators.

The location is great as is close to Salthill, the position of the hotel is excellent - easy to walk to all the pubs and the staff are very friendly.

15-20euro in a cab from the airport, 2 min walk from the station and 1 min from the main drag and sea.

Bed was a bit uncomfortable and there was a lot of noise from the air conditioning unit on the roof outside the room (we were on the top floor).

From the beautiful rooms to designer-feel lobby, to the petite-fours left by the bed each night.

Lots of nice touches like chocs in the evening in the room, newspapers in the morning, bed turned down, slippers left out etc.

The rooms are so quirky with all the bits that I love to have in my room - robe, slippers, rain showers and even curly wurly bars in the minibar!

Nice big bed with very comfortable bedding.

Food in restaurant was ok but restaurants down shop street are much better.

The room was beautiful, the bar was nice and breakfast was gorgeous too.

The Breakfast was fantastic and the bar great for relaxing during the rainy bits.

We ate in the restaurant on one evening and the food was divine.

Breakfast was delicious and also provide food as we were unable to get dinner.

Staff/Reception - impressive reception and comfortable clean rooms.

Central to all aspects of galway city, great hotel and excellent service from receptionist very welcoming and helpful.

We were some what over whelmed with the level of service in the restaurant on the Saturday night - all the serving staff were polite and happy to smile.

From the time we walked into the hotel, it was like coming home to granny’s for Christmas the front desk staff where so happy to see and help us.

As per previous reviews, the hotel itself does not have its own car parking facilities so they utilise Hynes carpark which is a couple of minutes walk from the hotel.

The location is fine but if you come with the car you have to pay for car parking and it's not so cheap.

Car parking a problem as stated, unloading luggage in the rain on busy corner, website needs to warn guests.

The rooms are clean, breakfast is done well and the hosts are very friendly and accomodating.

The staff are professional and the bedrooms themselves are very clean and spacious.

Service was really good, the owner/operating was an upstanding nice guy and rooms were comfortable clean and warm.

The rooms are clean, breakfast is great and menu selection one of the best on our 7 day trip around Ireland.

The hotel reception is one of the prettiest I've ever seen, the room was just as nice and spotlessly clean.
