Everything worked well, it was clean & comfy and in a good location.

The location of the hotel was very good - only a short walk from most amenities.

Very convenient location near shops and central Cairns.

The staff was helpful and arranged our taxi back to the airport, offered some dining suggestions, etc.

Room was perfectly fine, quite large with a big bed, lounge suite and coffee table and a great blacony with comfy chairs too.

The rooms were clean, beds comfortable, and nicely decorated.

I would suggest booking in advance for a longer stay and booking a superior room ( I think they call them Tower rooms).

We had a problem with the toilet cistern and they moved us after being unable to fix it to a great family room which was fab for the 2 of us.

The breakfast was amazing - full buffet spread - 5 star hotel quality - with a great terrace restaurant - really lovely.

In contrast, within a 5 minute walk of the hotel are several great breakfast places that will cook fresh, made-to-order breakfasts for less than half of what the hotel charges.

One particular place we enjoyed was a great Organic Juice and Breakfast Bar three blocks away.

Hotel is in a great location only 5 minutes walk from the Esplanade and all the restaurants on the 'front' where you can eat quite cheaply or more up market as you choose.

We had 4 main meals at the restaurant that were simply superb, excellent chef!

Also reception staff were excellent, receptionist were so helpful and our room was large.

Furthermore the exterior has an attractive white “plantation style” architecture and the reception staff couldn't have been more helpful.

This hotel was quite simple in the lobby and pool area but it represented excellent quality, service, location and value.

We stayed here for 3 nights at the start of a 3 week trip travelling doan the East Coast of Oz - easy to find, car parking underground and a nice room that overlooked the parking area / restaurant.

The coffee was tasty and the pool was really nice.

At other times, the connection was slower than dial-up.

The rooms were clean and the cold food was fine.

The Hotel was clean and inviting, the staff were extremely courteous and helpful, the room itself was a great size for two people - very large.

Very nice colonial style hotel in the middle of Cairns and the rooms are clean and spacious.
