Haycock Hotel Peterborough - 彼得伯勒

Great village location and overall was a nice stay.

Over all a nice country location perfect for exploring the very nice local countryside, the atmosphere of the hotel is very good and wedding staff are all excellent.

Good car park, the village are beautiful and excellent location for mt visit to the area.

Then there was a 10 or 15 minute taxi from Peterborough train station to the Hotel in Wansford.

Next morning, we took a taxi back to the train station and took a fabulous 4 hour train ride north to Edinborough.

The bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds I've slept in and the room was spacious and very clean.

The bathrooms were lovely and also clean although the drain in my tub could have stood being Draino'd (FYI - when flushing toilets in the UK, sometimes you have to pump the handle repeatedly to get the toilet to flush).

This large room was interesting on the inside to, with more period features, a very large and very well equipped bathroom and a big, comfy bed.

A lot of time has been spent making the outside look presentable but the rooms are tired, the bathrooms old and springs had gone in the bed I stayed in.

The suite was a beautifully decorated split level affair with a huge bathroom and a jacuzzi bath.

The bar, lounge, restaurant and courtyard areas are all first rate.

If you want a wedding reception/breakfast there make it a provisary that the floors, chairs etc are free form dirt/food/stomach lining, don't invite more than about 120 people to sit down to eat at the same time.

The bar and "The Orchards" restaurant, incorporating a fantastic conservatory were excellent.

As we are local, we also eat in the restaurant on special occassions - anniversaries, birthdays, etc and can say without any hesitation that the food and service have always been of the highest quality.

I had to book the Orchards restaurant in the end, the food was shocking to say the least and there were only 4 other tables dining.

Pleasant and helpful staff made our stay most enjoyable, the service at reception was great.

The children were very well behaved and totaly in awe of the whole experience, the staff were fantastically friendly, service was impeccable and the standard of food was probably the best meal I have ever eaten!

The staff are helpful the building is clean and the service is Friendly very profresonal.

The staff was evident from the dirtyglasses in the bar area to clean our bathroom was, the hotel was really good was in an ideal location and the service in all departments was of a high standard.

The splendour of the wonderful stately home at Burghley House, attentive staff members and room service was excellent value as was the restaurant.

There is adequate car parking on site and access to the A1 is easy.

We sat in a big conservatory over looking the garden, which was beautifully presented.

Our room was clean and tidy and it was nice and quiet, but it just wasn't terribly special.

The hotel is clean, the staff are friendly and attentive, the suites are particularly nice.

Clean and comfortable rooms, breakfast good.

A lovely room, spacious and clean and well worth what we paid for it.

The room was off the courtyard overlooking the delightful gardens,clean and comfortable and spacious.
