Very central location and short distance from a railway station.

Good location near to the centre, could not be better. Historic-style building, modern and well-appointed rooms with a sufficient workspace. Generous and tasty breakfast with very luke warm bacon for the start of the day.

I had brilliant stay, the place is well presented and newly decorated!

The room was a nice size with good desk space and the kettle and safety measures included smoke detectors. The hotel's position was quiet and best possible close to restaurants and bars.

I got standard queen room for 1 night, enjoyed it. The beds were comfortable and there were an iron and ironing board, an electronic key card, and coffee/tea makers. The location was best possible for visiting restaurants and bars close to the hotel.

Its location relatively close to The Museum of Computing was particularly good and ideal. The bed was extremely comfy and room was tidy & brand-new. I was pleased with good service.

All in all everything was wonderful, had a very comfortable stay for business trip. Great location in the nice area and it was a bonus to be short distance from a railway station. We went out for dinner, found Tandoori Nights, it was at a moderate distance from the hotel.

The place provides reasonable prices. It's neat hotel nestled in a Victorian style building in the excellent area. It has very friendly, amazingly attentive staff. The location is close to a train station, best possible. They serve a lot of meals, the food I tried was good!

The stuff where obliging, great location literally opposite the railway station. Local fast food option Rooster's Grill Shack was 5 minutes walk away.

I couldn't believe the amazing value for money I got at Great Western Hotel. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean, with a modern and comfortable feel. The hotel's location right opposite the railway station was perfect, making it easy to explore the shops and restaurants nearby. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived.

The breakfast selection could have been improved with a wider variety of options.

In overall the room was clean and with the kettle. The service was good, I was offered a really tasty breakfast with five more fried eggs which were quickly snapped up. The location was marvellous and brilliant, not too far from Bakers Arms Public House.
