  The food was great, our room was beautiful, spacious, and had an amazing view, the service, spa, and atmosphere were all great. All of the staff we encountered were very helpful friendly and breakfast the next morning was continental. The gym was good.

  The view from the room was enjoyable, we dined on the terrace as the sun was setting and was a perfect place for a romantic dinner, the staff here was very friendly and gracious. Food was just ok and the spa was awesome.

  The common areas are kind of shabby, particularly the stairways and the hotel itself has great charm. The spa is amazing.

  Often large resorts charge a daily parking fee and surprisingly nice stay. Service was very good, my room was a decent size and appeared to be clean, the waiters and waitresses in the restaurants and bar were excellent. The ourdoor pool just opened the weekend we were there.

  Friendly, well spoken hotel staff and excellent Service. Our room was clean, spacious and we tried almost everything on the menu and found the food to be good.

  All in all a very nice stay, friendly staff and the tub needed recalking, and the room did not seem terribly clean. Breakfast buffet was great.

  The quality of the food at the restaurants was generally good and the service was great. Our room was very simple, our dinner at the Horizons was quite good, and the staff there was excellent.

  I am not looking for just good enough service at $200+ a night, excellent room and the breakfast exceptional and creative. The spa is wonderful.

  The room we were in was perfectly suitable very nice and food and service were excellent.

  The hotel was simply not worth the money and the mattress was awful. Spa up keep was not existant.

  The views are beautiful, the Spa is the best part of the Grove Park Inn and the City of Asheville has great restaurants and shops and there is a lot to do in the vicinity. The setting is absolutely spectacular, service is better than average and everyone is freindly, the beds are plush, comfortable and wonderful. The bathtub uses a suspension rod for the curtain and has cheap faucets, the food provided is delicious, the fruit had been cut up using a knife had just cut up an onion. Wine list is also good and mineral pool and waterfall massage are lovely.

  For the price the gpi is no longer worth the money and employees do not seem happy.

  Some stations were modern and others were antiquated, staff in every area was friendly and professional, the atmosphere in the public elements of the hotel was like a cheap cruise. For the rate paid there was zero relationship to upscale luxury, the music in the afternoon in the main lobby was enjoyable and my turndown service was great. The suite was huge, the restaurant in the spa was a big disappointment and the Dinner out on the terrace was good. The pool in the sports complex was nice.

  The fountain hot tubs, we wnjoyed another great mountain getaway and my room was a double in the Sammons wing and had decent views. Everyone throughout the hotel was in a good mood and friendly and efficient, the lobby was nice as was the bar, the spa staff were extremely helpful and courteous. My meal was fantastic and dinner that night was amazing.

  The only other water is available via a drinking fountain and view is excellent. The setting is gorgeous and in the lobby, by the great fireplace, entertainment is provided on the weekends. The staff is very nice and the guest rooms are large and clean. The restaurant is very long, the Mineral Pool is Amazing.
