We go very often to Milan and we advise you to go to the following hotels which offer the best quality for money :.
The location is perfect and the hotel is situated on a calm street just by the duomo.
The location, right next to the Galleria Emmanuele shopping mall, is perfect (the hotel has a stunning suite overlooking interior of the mall itself - worth asking the front desk to show it to you, it's amazing).
With it's location in Milan you think that this is the best hotel for your stay.
It was an inconvenience to call a taxi, she actually tapped her foot repeatedly on the floor in anger as we checked out.

The hotel room itself was perfect - more than adequate size for 2 people, you certainly don't need to dance around each other, very comfortable bed, curtains that work on a switch mechanism, but doesn't lose anything on comfort in the process.
However, it was a little too 'cool', the room was very small (no plasma tv or Stark bath in a 300 euro/night room) the bathroom was very compact and the shower leaked badly (the hydro shower was very ineffective).
My room was small but immaculate - comfy bed, posh sheets, superb power shower.
Friendly staff, convenient room and great bar/restaurant.
Restaurant Le Noir in the hotel is cute (little design restaurant).
Front desk agents suggested us nice restaurants.
As with most Milan hotels (the Bulgari and Four Seasons aside), the "restaurant" was a cubby hole with no windows.
OK for breakfast, but don't get caught here in the evenings.
