Located at the bank of Fateh Sagar lake, The Lalit Laxmi Vilas Palace Udaipur enjoys a marvellous view of Aravalli Hills and Sajjangarh Palace.

The hotel was built by Maharana Bhupal Singh originally in 1911 as a residence of Mr Winn Gate political agent at that time and in 1945 Mr Winngate was shifted to Hathi Pole and the palace was rebuilt as a royal guest house to house the dignitaries, visiting princes and British officers.

The hotel has a grand architecture that reflects the culture of its time, is an ideal destination for guests who like to experience the magic of the previous century.

The 55 room property, offers the option of choosing rooms from the elegantly decorated Heritage wing to the Shri Nath Ji wing with sprawling ambience and offer modern room features at the same time, such as Wi-Fi connectivity, central air-condition and LCD TV.

Beautiful location excellent staff, best in town and a great stay at The Lalit Laxmi Vilas Palace Udaipur. Teeka the traditional royal style and very good service. Rooms are clean and spacious, buffets are amazing.

The room was quite spacious and was overlooking the valley, the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. I arrived in the evening and the reception was very efficient to check me in, raha the Manager was also quite good. The bed was top class and offered us comfortable sleep, the Breakfast was better than rest of the meals.

Lake fatehsagar is just opposite to this magnificent property and the view and the public areas are great. The complimentary breakfast at the hotel is outstanding, the staff are excellent, very friendly and helpful, rooms are good and well equipped. Food is also excellent.
