Their casual dining location is superb and good alternatives in San Diego include the Four Seasons Aviara.

I really could have stayed another 5 days, without stepping a foot out of the resort, or experiencing an ounce of boredom.

Huge tub, nice shower, wet bar, comfortable bed.

Bathrooms really are stunning with big tub and a wonderful shower, great bath amenities.

In addition the room/suite was beautiful and the restaurant was magnificent.

I had a regular ol' king-size room and it was bigger than my first apartment.

The rooms were great and we upgraded to a golf fairway view room, worth the price.

The restaurant was magnificent with the best cuisine.

We didn't eat at Addison, for fine dining at the golf clubhouse, but apparently it is one of the top restaurants in the area.

The restaurant with the outdoor patio was not all that attractive and the best tables were taken over by some loud family for a kid's birthday party, so I got a lunch to go from the deli.

I ate at Addison Restaurant, which lived up to its 5-star rating.

Even the food in the hotel restaurants was excellent.

The staff throughout the hotel was equally attentive and pleasant, service were very good.

The staff is very nice and professional, the concierge here is wonderful.

Cocktails in the lobby bar were excellent and front desk staff were very friendly.

The service was excellent, the concierge desk was very nice and helpful, the bathroom was huge.

The gym was great, the spa is amazing, and the swimming pools were perfectly heated.

The Grand Del Mar has a wonderful property, 2 large pools for families with children overlooking the golf course and 1 adult pool adjacent to the spa.

From the lobby to the restaurants and lounges, to the shops and spa, to the pools and tennis courts, the attention to detail is amazing.

The place was spotless, the staff at the Grand Del Mar were all very helpful and nice, free wireless internet in the room was another plus.

The rooms were big, well-furnished and clean.

A large seperate toilet area and a big hotel. Service was good and manager were both very generous and thoughtful. The rooms were great, that meal was fantastic and dinner at the Addison was excellent. The lounges by the pool were very comfortable.

Location itself is very nice, the Grand Del Mar has a wonderful property and the staff could not be any more friendly and helpful. The rooms are fantastic and the food is exquisite. Gym is huge.

The common areas are majestic and the hotel is nice both inside. The entire staff is wonderful, the bathroom is quite large and the food in the rest of the property is also excellent. The temperatures of both pools are just perfect.

Wonderful interior archittectural details in the lobby areas and gorgeous place. The staff was superb and the rooms were ultra quiet. The food was spectacular and the chefs tasting menu was excellent.

Very comfortable luxury hotel, great service and the attentive concierges. A wonderful shower, small and romantic Jacuzzis, fresh towels. The food superb and nice waiters. The spa looked beautiful.

The hotel was nicely decorated for Christmas, the service all around was excellent and at least the fitness room was free. In addition the food was fantastic, the gym was great.
