A truly Royal Suite has opened at The Goring following almost eighteen months of planning and refurbishment. Commissioned to commemorate the Centenary of the hotel in 2010, top designer Russell Sage was asked to bring The Goring's unique style to life. The four room suite stretches across the whole length of the top floor overlooking the private gardens. Spectacular Gainsborough silks have been used throughout. The Drawing Room and Dining Room are in the palette of powder blues whilst the bedrooms are champagne pink and a sage green silk from a pattern first woven in 1910. A wonderful collection of antique books, china, glass and silver has been brought together creating a unique atmosphere across the four rooms. A truly exquisite blend of homeliness and luxurious grandeur - in keeping with the rest of the hotel. A new balcony has been created running right across the suite with magnificent panoramic views over the skyline of London.
