    The shower head, period.

By american standards I rate this hotel lower than the twenty-eight dollar a night room at the Covert Motel in Davenport, Iowa. The room was poorly decorated, the bedspreads were from the 1960s and the beds themselves were the worst I have ever slept in, and that includes camping out and sleeping on the ground. For the amount of money they charged, the very least I would expect would be a comfortable bed. The private bath was located across the hall under lock and key. That room was poorly finished yet functional.

The location was great for rugby weekend

No seperate bathroom, toilet facilities of low standard

Unfortunately I read the hotel reviews after our stay. The description of shabby was spot on. We have stayed in many hotels throughout Europe but this was by far the worst. The bed was pushed up against the wall, and the bathroom was separate and very close to another room. Thank goodness it was only one night.

The only good thing I can say about the Georgian Hotel is the location right at the heart of Baker Street and easily accesible to Oxford street. The price is reasonable but the hotel is not up to standards.

The building is old and run down, noisy street outside and the facilities were defficient. The lift stopped working at times (besides having a curfew for its use, not working after 11 pm). The room wasn't ready when we arrived and left us waiting in the corridor for such a long time before checking us in, inspite being jetlagged and tired. Staff was not helpful or friendly. The worst part, when we finally got the room it was dirty and the sheets of the bed stained! When I ask the chambermaid to change them she was really rude and refused to do the two beds, saying she had to speak to the manager before doing it! Unbelievable... I would never stay in this hotel again. Better look for other options around the area!

Bathroom was clean and newly renovated. Room OK for the amazing price of £95 for 4 people? Good location

Room was basic and needs redecorating.

I thought the hotel was basic, room not bad size, exerllent for back packers I thought, as we could leave our backpacks after 7.30 which freed us a bit, would stay again,

The only thing I would say is the deco could do with modernising.

It was central not far from oxford street

The room was small and there was a smell the tv did not work and as there is no reception from 2230 I could not get it fixed the bathroom was not attached to room the decor was old and out dated .complimentary tea/coffee not restocked for second night

Location and cost obviously appealing. says they don't have WIFI but they do there was a router in my room. Guessing they are in all rooms. It's part of the price. My bed itself was actually really comfortable.

Rooms very basic. There was a big spill of 'something' on the carpet in my room, smelled a bit like cleaning material. Also the tv didn't work. Guessing that was just happen-stance and all rooms don't have wet carpets.

Comfy beds, clean sheets. Good location.

Staff attitude, no idea about customer service - only interested in money, stains on carpets, tv not working, Holes in wall, stains on bathroom floor, no lift after 10.30pm, Vertical ladder from our floor which was the fire escape (appeared to take you up onto the roof of hotel) On arrival was told breakfast not included in our stay when it clearly states on booking form it is so reception man made phonecall to someone asking 'who was going to be paying for these breakfasts as she wont pay!' Needless to say will not be staying there again. Shame as lovely building which has so much potential.

No working telephone in the room Stains on the bed covers Shower screen fell off during shower and water was not hot enough For each and every thing I had to visit reception personally every single time

I was sold a room with a private bath facility, assuming it was ensuite. This was not the case. The private facility had to be accessed across a lobby. If I had known this I would not have booked the room, no matter how cheap. The website needs to be updated to clearly state this. As a consequence I did not stay and wasn't entitled to a refund. I then stayed elsewhere so a waste of my money.
