Excellent nearby restaurants, great location and very nice stay at the Georgetown Inn.

Perfect location, plenty of good restaurants nearby and the hotel room was clean and comfortable.

There are several good eating places near the hotel, a CVS two minutes up the road, regular taxi cabs, Georgetown bus service stop right outside the Inn and the Mall within stone's throw away.

One of the drawbacks is that you need to take a bus or cab to the GWU Hospital to catch the subway - but that's a small price to pay for a goos stay.

Moreover the staff is very welcoming and professional, the room is a bit small the bed was comfortable.

The rooms are adequate - I upgraded to a suite - just ensure that you ask for a room tha faces the car park at the rear of the hotel.

Perfect location, easy access to the town centre (the shuttle busses to Foggy Bottom metro station stop in front of the hotel), plenty of good restaurants nearby (Try Zed's for Ethiopian food or the Peacock café for a trendy lunch).

Shops, restaurants, nightlife and galleries surround the Inn, making it the perfect little nook to stay in.

Any type of night life or restaurant you want is within walking distance, not to mention specialty shops and national chains for the most avid shopper.

Staff helpful in advising to use bus/metro services and the hotel's good location close to the heart of Georgetown.

The staff behind the front desk was okay but non of them were American which made communication difficult.

We were also disappointed with the concierge's lack of knowledge and insight with restaurants and massage/spa services in the area.

This hotel is superbly located, and with parking at such a premium, the valet made life very easy.

The only negative is that valet parking was expensive but I guess that is what you would expect in that area.
