  Outside of the train in the morning and evening, was quiet and restful, the common areas were nearly as nice as at the Strater. Hotel was very clean and the main building was a beautiful Victorian gem. The lobby was fabulous, staff were friendly and the bed was soft supportive.

  And, Durango, is a beautiful town, free parking the restaurants shops are all within walking distance and nice views from the covered deck of of the trains departing and arriving. The hotel is historic and the location is wonderful, the rooms are nicely decorated in a Victorian style, the staff is very accommodating in every way. Family suite is great value and small elevator you have big bags.

  All the wonderful restaurants, bars are easy walking distance, location is perfect and the hotel is great for singles. The lobby is charming, the staff is professional and very helpful, we obtained the Presidential Suite as an upgrade for free. Breakfast, is included was exceptional.

  The overall location is perfect in walking distance to all shops and eats, the hotel is beautiful. Staff is friendly, and there is always a fresh cup of hot coffee in the lobby, oh, the customer service is quite good as well. The rooms are charming.

  The internet works well and there is a small business area in the front, the hotel is in a great location. The lobby and breakfast sun room is beautiful, the staff could not have been more accomodating. The elevator is a charming historic artifact.

  Stay was welcoming and likeable, the staff were pleasant, the rooms were super clean and very quaint. The continental breakfast was awesome.

  A great place to stay, incredibly polite personnel and the staff is gracious and attentive and keep the rooms spotlessly clean. Excellent coffee, teas, and cookies are available during the day and evening.

  Just a pleasurable stay all around and reasonably priced, great Staff, the bed mattress was amazingly comfortable. The continental breakfast suited my taste and was very satisfying.
