Field Village Chiang Mai - 清邁

Also can be viewed as an up-side is the location, its very much out in the country-side and taxis haven't a notion where they are located.

A traditional ceremony in a beautiful location, welcoming atmosphere and all the prices were reasonable.

The Field Village resort from start to finish was at a standard i did not think could exist in such a great peaceful location.

The taxi firm and hotel desk had not heard of Field Village as it has only been open for 5 months.

The Field Village is under the flight path into Chiang Mai airport, but there are few flights each day, and it wasn't especially disturbing at all.

Being at the Field Village is like a great B&B experience, except with more staff, your own cottage, a better bed, a spa and swimming pool, en suite bath, and a great kitchen open all day - not just for breakfast.

The rooms at the Field Village were all individual ,all having a view , ours was beautiful,clean and well maintained and I've never slept in a bed so big!

The room was so tasteful and the bed was tremendously comfortable.

The rooms were fabulous, very comfy big bed with nice view out onto the rice fields, no bugs and I think in the two weeks we were there we had 2 mosquitoes!

The bed was very comforable although the room was rather dark and could have done with brighter lights, especially in the dressing area.

There is an onsight bar/restaurant where breakfast is served free of charge daily.

There is a simple but excellent bar / restaurant on site (by the pool).

She took us out two nights to hang out with her and her friends at a bar/restaurant, insisted on paying for our drinks, and then drove us back to the Filed Village in her personal car afterward.

The cottages were kitted out with everything one could need to make a stay first class and because everyone was enjoying the atmosphere so much there was a lovely sharing of stories iin the outdoor bar/restaurant area at night.

Breakfast, continental or cooked was fine and the food was excellent for other meals.

They and their staff made us so welcome ,providing great service-nothing was too much trouble.

Access to the internet using the reception's computer is no problem and we used the same day laundry service.

In addition the atmosphere was relaxed, good price led us here and the staff were wonderful.

Prices were very reasonable, the staff were very friendly and the accommodation was very comfortable.

The food was great as were the pool and spa.

We relaxed so much ,using the pool,spa facilities and gardens to chill out between visits to Chiangmai and the many things to do around the area.

The pavillions are located in a gorgeous garden and they offer a nice swimming pool with a direct view onto the rice fields.

Generally clean rooms and the food was really good too.

Relatively clean bathroom, food some of the best in our 6 weeks in thailand and jong for the great traditional Christmas dinner.

Nice and clean rooms, the food was great as were the pool.

The staff were so helpful, the food was great and the rooms were so cosy and clean - wonderful cottages with their own mini verandas.
