The location is good, the hotel is well situated for the shops and the breakfast is excellent.

Well located in centre of town, whilst the hotel is in a great location.

Room was ok, with nice, clean, comfortable bed and fair size bathroom.

I stayed with my girlfriend for one Sat night in room 27 with a four poster bed and thought it was great.

The discount weekend rate was £83 and the room had lots of character and a huge bed with decent amenities.

It was the service (or lack of it), the restaurant closing at 9, no room service, running out of things (including food and beverages) and the number of times my room was not serviced or I was checked into a room with an unmade, slept-in bed etc.

However, the bathroom has no toilet roll and there was dried blood on the bath.

We may have eaten in their restaurant but it was empty all evening, this might not have been due to the food but because there are so many alternative restaurants in Canterbury.

Can not speak to the bar/restaurant, didn't use them.

Lovely old coach house building, excellent breakfasts in nice dining room convenient for eating out.

Our 2 night break included an evening meal in the restaurant.

Breakfast was great All the shops, the location of the hotel was excellent for our shopping/sight seeing visit and staff were professional and courteous.

Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, information at reception was very good, room was very quiet - we were in the extension.

Despite being understaffed due to sickness the staff really did their best to make sure they gave great service.

Firstly on the plus side our room was very comfortable and clean though a little on the small side.

The rooms are clean, parking facilities are useful.

Really they could do with gutting the rooms and giving them a fresh look and feel.
