Great location: 5 min drive to Georgetown and this hotel is very well located.

The location is great and the concierge is knowledgeable about nearby dining options.

The location of th ehotel is perfect, quick walk to Georgetown and surrounding neighborhood was safe to walk in.

The location, just 5/10 minutes walk to Georgetown, and 10/15 minutes walk to the metro underground trains, was great.

The only down side is that it isn't close to a metro stop and a bit of a cab ride to Union Station if arriving by train.

Rooms are spotless and lovely; rooms are good sized, nice furnishings, bed was very comfortable, bathroom large-very nice plus robe; overall good amenities.

The room was very spacious, with a mini-bar, a huge king bed and TV.

The room was decorated italian style, with large bed, desk, chairs.

I think our room was a handicapped room because there was no tub- only a shower and grab bar by the toilet.

I was upgraded to a Capital permier Corner Suite which was quite beautiful--separate sitting and dining area, king bed etc.

The Grillfish restaurant was a good spot for a very casual easy meal and Bread and Chocolate, next block over a good breakfast spot.

The restaurant in house was overpriced and somewhat limited in menu, but Georgetown restaurants were very close and each place we ate dinner was very good.

We didn't use the bar or restaurant (we rarely use facilities in any hotel we stay at, preferring to eat elsewhere).

The Concierge also directed us to a very nice, casual Thai restaurant on the next block for an easy dinner upon our evening arrival as well as a very nice breakfast/lunch place around the corner as well.

There was no need for room service because for a very reasonable price you can stay in the Fairmont Gold area where there is a cozy lounge and breakfast, lunch, dinner, and always snacks and tea available, and the food is superb!

Both the front desk staff and the concierge service was outstanding as we were able to get last minute reservations as well as a taxi to Mortons for dinner on New Years Eve!

The entire staff, from the front desk to the concierge to the restaurant hosts and bar staff and even housekeeping were very pleasant and professional and they helped make our stay in DC a very enjoyable one.

As many other reviews have mentioned, the fitness center is really more of a full scale gym housed in a hotel.

Gym is great and there is an indoor pool.

Reasonable prices, the lobby is pretty fancy and gym area to be extremely nice.

You can even get free Wi-Fi if you sign up with their online President's Club in advance.

I had to have a late night battle with the clerk who said that I would be charged $14/day for high speed internet access since I didn't sign my membership card BEFORE I sighed the check in form.

The Hotel room was large and spacious, clean, tidy and well serviced, with superb views of a concrete courtyard and trash dumpster, and the obligatory “Hibernating Bum” located under a bush overnight.

Terrifically helpful staff, clean room and a small private kitchen.

Service is excellent, rooms are spotless and lovely.

The room itself was spacious, comfortable and exceptionally clean (shockingly, not always the case at 4- and 5-star hotels).

We had standard rooms which were spacious and clean.
