This fantastic ski resort The Fairmont Chateau Whistler at the food of Blackcomb Mountain is one of a kind. The friendly and professional staff does everything for you. It's also a great place to visit in the summer because of its excellent facilities and professionally designed golf course, the dining and the bar are both great.

Overview

Nestled at the base of Blackcomb mountain, The Fairmont Chateau Whistler resort hotel defines mountain luxury. With true ski-in and ski-out convenience and on-site golf course, the classic elegance of this landmark Whistler hotel offers a modern alpine setting.

This five-star hotel offers 550 comfortable and well-equipped, air-conditioned guestrooms. Tastefully designed Whistler accommodations with spectacular mountain or village views were created to blend with the natural alpine setting.

The Fairmont Chateau Whistler presents a unique collection of Whistler restaurant options that capture the essence of Whistler's vibrant lifestyle. Dining facilities include a restaurant and a cafeteria. Breakfast is available for surcharge.

Along with coveted ski-in/ski-out access, the resort offers spa tubs and heated pools, a health spa and in warmer months the Fairmont Chateau Whistler Golf Club, designed by Robert Trent Jones.

Great service, concierge very helpful and three outdoor hot tubs.
Several hot tubs, also a big jacuzzi and good bar food plus a very reasonably priced.
The service was excellent, the bathroom was clean and the bar was lively.

Direction from Downtown Vancouver:

Head west along Georgia Street approximately 12 blocks to Stanley Park. Go through Stanley Park and onto the Lions Gate Bridge. As you leave the bridge, follow the signs for West Vancouver. You will find yourself on Marine Drive. At the first traffic light turn right onto Taylor Way. At the second traffic light, take the left lane and follow the signs to Horseshoe Bay. At Horseshoe Bay, watch for the exit sign onto Highway 99 north to Squamish and Whistler. Continue north along Highway 99 to Whistler Village. Once you reach the Whistler Valley, proceed through the first 6 traffic lights and turn right at the 7th traffic light onto Lorimer Road. Follow Lorimer Road through the traffic light to the Upper Village, until you reach the 4-way stop sign at Blackcomb Way. Turn right onto Blackcomb Way and, almost immediately, you will see The Fairmont Chateau Whistler sign at the foot of Chateau Boulevard (left-hand side).

The pool/gym area was good, and better than expected, our stay at the Chateau Whistler was fantastic. The staff were awesome, room was spacious and the mens sauna was nice and relaxing. Wildflower restaraunt service and food was very good.
