The Dorchester is the choice of movie stars and those with the cash to afford it. It was opened for business in 1931 and has made a name for itself ever since. The lobby is possibly the most lavish in London and the enormous ballroom is just as spectacular as it once was years ago. The hotel offers 250 guestrooms, antique and individual furniture, working fireplaces and four-poster beds, evoking an English cottage feel.

Great location, the hotel lacked any kind of movie PPV system and especially the excellent concierge staff--made me feel welcomed.
A luxurious hotel, helpful staff and very good good room service breakfast.
The bed was comfortable, also at breakfast very nice was slow.
