Featuring the only rooftop swimming pool, The Colonnade Hotel has long been considered the best feature of this European style hotel. But there is more: the location is convenient, being close to the convention center and to the Back Bay shopping locations, the rooms are excellent after the 2008 renovation, there is the on- site Brasserie Jo, and in general this hotel is (correctly) considered good value for money.

The staff were all incredibly helpful and the location was fantastic, the rooms were spacious, cool and clean, the concierge was great getting reservations at the restaurant of our choice.

The hotel unilaterally kept closed at all other times as was too cold and the front desk was very slow.

Great deals on marriott and sheraton locations are just as good, not this new modern stuff that goes out of date in a year, the rooms on the east side of the elevator bank looked better.
