This hotel is adjacent to the Amanpuri and has the same beach for a lower price. The thatched cottages are located on a hillside, and even though it's not as lavish as the Amanpuri, it's a good value for what you pay.

Overview

Situated in peaceful seclusion on the island’s finest shore and surrounded by azure waters of the Andaman Sea the four-star Chedi Phuket is a luxurious gateway to a tropical island paradise close to Old Phuket Town, Khao Rang Hall and Koh Sirey Temple.

Decorated in country style the thatched cottages are surrounded by coconut palms on landscaped slopes that gently descend to meet the white sand beach. The rustic serenity of the cottages is reflected in the interior design with woven palm panels and earth-colored fabrics. The residence boasts a large outdoor hexagon-shape swimming pool, a tennis court, a sports centre, a full-service spa and a contemporary conference hall with high-speed internet access.

All 108 individually designed cottages are a good choice for leisure travelers who want to relax by the sun and take part in water sports, honeymooners and business guests seeking state-of-the-art equipment, pampering service and relax atmosphere.

The guests can choose between double rooms with king-size beds, deluxe king rooms with king-size beds, superior king rooms with king-size beds, deluxe suites with king-size beds and studio suites with king-size beds. Each cottage comes with hill views, garden views or beachfront views. All the guestrooms feature soft beds and spacious dressing areas, sofas, air conditioning, satellite TV, direct-dial telephones, coffee and tea-making facilities, mini-bars, automatic wake-up calls and wireless internet access. Rich breakfast buffet is included with your room.

The beach was pretty nice and clean, the location was fabulous, the staff were friendly and helpful. We opted for the bed and breakfast deal and the breakfast banquets were great, all of the food we had was excellent and left nothing to be desired.

The spa was very Thai, comfortable and quiet on the hill, the private beach at Surin was excellent + staff of the hotel available for any assistance always. The ro0om service was the best we've ever experienced and the room stayed cool. Breakfast was great.

Great location in Phuket, private beach and the restaurants nearby are all very good value. The place is fantastic and the staff is forever accomodating and supportive to our needs. The bed is extremely comfortable, nice pillows and bedsheets, breakfast as always is one of the best breakfast buffets out there, the swimming pool is perfect.
