This hotel is in the Himalayan Mountains, 7,000 feet above sea level. There are breathtaking views of mountains and forests, and guests can walk to the ancient monasteries and Vice Regal Lodge. The latter being the former residence of the Viceroy of India. The interiors are lavish, there's an activity center for children, a spa, beautiful rooms with DVD players, and great service.

The five-star Oberoi Cecil Hotel is comfortably situated in the Himalayas Mountains, close to the ancient monasteries and Vice Regal Lodge.

This built in 1884 Himalayan hill station houses elegant colonial style property with contemporary amenities.

The luxury 75 guest rooms and suites are completed with satellite television and separate walk-in closet with electronic safe.

There are three dining venues that offer a selection of European and Asian dishes.

              Good location and nice stay. The building is grand and the views of the mountains are spectacular, interiors are excellent, the staff couldn't have been more helpful. Rooms are lovely, warm and food is great. The pool is lovely too.

              The hotel was spotlessly clean in all places, service was great and a colleague booked by phone and was given a room 40 usd cheaper. The food was fantastic, the reasonably priced beer was a better option and facilities provided very good.
