  The shikara boat is a wonderful experience and totally relaxing, the rooms are amazing especially the ones facing the Lake. Carlton is a beautiful location and awesome place to stay and enjoy Kodaikanal. Service is very good, towels and bedding Need to be updated, the best food I have had in India.

  The early morning view that u get through the window is excellent and the recreational amenities at The Carlton are also rather nice. The rates are reasonable, staff is attentive and the room service is also good. The food choices available are the best in kodi.

  The view from the room is awesome and Kodaikanal is an amazing place. Carlton is unnecessary costly,not worth the money and service is good. Bathrooms have running hot water facility, the staff is very courteous and the food is excellent.

  Room spacious, clean beautiful view of the lake from a large patio, fantastic Carlton and nice exteriors. Good ambiance very friendly staff, helpful and attentive owners, the bedrooms were spacious and well serviced perhaps not 4. The food was excellent.

  The best of location, view, accessibility, food, activities and great hotel. Overall well worth the price we paid, warm interior and the staff were welcoming and helpful. The rooms were neat, buffet choices were generally good and the health Spa was excellent.

  The deluxe room that we stayed in had a excellent lake view and the hotel's location was also very convenient. Arun at reception did not seem to be aware of specials and packages, the bed was huge. The food was great too and the Carlton was the best choice for a romantic holiday in Kodaikanal.

  The stay was unforgettable, very comfortable and very enjoyable, the staff were pleasant and attentive, the rooms were neat and clean and the balnkets were warm. The food was delicious, the sports facilities too was very good.

  All in all great place to stay, fantastic reception and very comfortable and the bathroom was of a good standard. Food was excellent.
