We stayed for 2 nights and found the stay excellent value for for money. The staff were very courteous and helpful - couldn't do enough for us - even let me store my mothers disabled scooter in reception rather than lug it up to her room. All round excellent stay and would not hesitate to go again.

Great position in centre of town, shops/pubs/restaurants on doorstep. Breakfast was fabulous!!!

If I had to be picky I would say room could do with a tidy up cosmetically.

I chose the hotel as I was bringing my dog with me, and I was so happy with the warm welcome from the owners, for both him and me! They went out of their way to look after me, nothing was too much trouble. The bed was very comfortable, I slept the best I have for a long time, and a lovely big bathroom with a deep bath was very soothing after all the walking. Breakfast was excellent, too, served in a very nice dining room. I would recommend this hotel to everyone, in particular to the single female traveller, as well as couples and families. Thanks for a great stay.

I made this booking at short notice and stayed just one night. I arrived after 8pm. The owners of the hotel were welcoming and friendly and the cooked breakfast was very good.

I chose this hotel for the very economical room price and after reading other people's positive reviews. It certainly lived up to my expectations..The hotel is in a fantastic position..a couple of minutes walk from the station, the leisure centre, the theatre, the shopping outlet, the supermarket,...very close to the beach and actually at the start of the main shopping street! The room was fine for my needs i.e only for sleeping, as I was out all day and every evening.I have to be honest for future visitors and say it wasn't conducive to spending long hours in there, but single rooms never are! These reviews are only helpful if we are honest and I found the room most satisfactory at that price! I am only mentioning this so that people know what to expect. It wasn't big enough to fit a wardrobe but there was an adequate clothes rack with hangers and space for shoes. The spare space was better taken up by a comfy armchair and chest of drawers. They provide top quality tea, coffee, drinking chocolate etc and clean, fresh bed linen and towels.Good sized shower too.The breakfast was excellent, again good quality food served in a delightful dining room.I didn't have any evening meals there but I heard people having difficulty deciding what to have next as everything was so good!!Marc and Sheryl were so helpful with local information and suggestions as to what to do,depending on the weather forecast!I think it's obvious I will definitely stay there again!

The staff were very welcoming. Room was perfect with en-suite and flat screen telly making it very modern.

the only fault which is minor was that with a bit of wind the window made alot of noise. this is nothing that wouldnt stop me going back

I had written stating that this was a special occasion for my 86 year old mother and asked if we could have an easy accessible room with possible sea view. They were very kind to fulfil both requests at such short notice. The welcome was very genuine and much appreciated. The breakfasts were delicious and enough to fill anyone! We had a problem with the tv one the first day which was dealt with within 5 mins of calling. We made enquiries with them regarding bus schedules and they investigated on our behalf. All in all a lovely few days.

Maybe the size of the tv in the rooms could be bigger, they are quite small.
