The staff is great as always, but the points we mentioned here will have to be addressed before we would recommend anyone else spending the money for this Overpriced hotel.
Bottom line - the hotel's a pretty place, but the service isn't up to the price.
The staff to be among the best in the country and the location is also beautiful - I am always reminded of Switzerland I am there due to the mountains.

Pluses: The room, the staff, and overall beauty of the property and its location.
One is that is pretty far from the airport.
What separates the Broadmoor from the rest of the resorts and lodges is the feeling of an experience, rather than a mere hotel visit, from the moment you see the Broadmoor van driver waiting for you at the airport.
We stayed in a beautiful suite with a huge living room and separate king bedroom, office and large bath with clawfoot tub and shower.
Also the bedroom does not have a door separating it from the bathroom/closet area so you either have to close the living area off from the bathroom too or leave it open to the bath and bed area.
The rooms were spacious and well appointed (chandelier over the bed, exquisite linens, etc.
I stayed in the South Tower, in a basic suite room, and it was a cut above most hotel "suite" rooms I've stayed in.
The chocolate on my bed when I came back to the paradise hotel room was amazing.
We eat at very nice restaurants all over and I was shocked that this was a AAA five diamond restaurant -- they need to revisit it!
Great restaurants, tavern, bar, wonderful pools, tennis, shops and very kind people.
We eat in the fine dining restaurant, at the top of a tower, with great views.
The meals are fine but expect to pay high prices for breakfast,lunch and dinner.
Dining was excellent everywhere we ate, the new Summit restaurant was particularly enjoyable, great service.
Concierge and front desk staff that will do anything to help you.
Concierge services perfect, and hotel staff constantly greeted us as we passed by.
This place understands service as good as any other and over all the staff was excellent.
The spa was magnificent with over 32 rooms; the men's section of the spa had a steamroom, Swedish Sauna and a great shower.
Also, you can spend a week without even leaving the property for relaxation and being treated to perhaps a spa or a swim in the pool.
For cooler weather, check out the indoor spa, with pool and all the usual luxury spoils.
The desk was adequate and had high-speed internet for a $10 charge.
