      Friendly staff

There was alot of noise outside from a group of teenagers/ yound men loitering outside the university accross the street. Even though it was a Wednesday night the were there until the early hours of the morning. Resulted in uneasiness and a lack of sleep. Breakfast was a bit haphazzard also.

The Staff were excellent, Always telling us that the fruit and drinks in our room and in the lobby were free and to take what we needed! Nice breakfast room with again very friendly staff. Would recommend this hotel.

Not much positive to say... not too far from public transport, decent breakfast.

The room was not ready when we arrived, the room was dirty (stains on the walls, spiders in the shower), I requested a room on a low floor but was given a room on the top floor, no hot water.

Characteristic, old building, but with (essential) modern features. Taking the stairs to the third floor is good exercise after an evening in the pub.

There was a vague but persistent gasoline-like smell in the basement area.

It was close to Elephant and castle tube stop. The people at the front desk were very nice if not the most knowledgeable about London.

Not the best area, didn't feel safe walking back at night. There are University Guards wandering around and in the buildings around there so it isn't too bad .

very convenient for waterloo railway station and the centre of london, staff were very friendly and we enjoyed a good but unusual breakfast.very reasonable rates compared with other hotels in this area.

the room was a bit small and cramped, and a bit dated,it showed it's age, breakfast room was outside, down some steep stairs so would not suit anyone who was not able.

It was good all round as I had early starts ie leave 7.30 offered early breakfast. I was barely in accommodation, plenty of drinks water, fruit etc I would say good for confident travellers, couples plus.

I stayed four nights and was woken the last night by music someone in a room decided to turn music channel on and as I was alone had no option but to listen for several hours to banging and crashing. I did not mention to staff as I had a conference to attend and was required on site by 0715. With my working day over 12 hours long by the last day I was exhausted. The location was a little un nerving for a lady travelling alone.

My room was basic but very clea, reasonably spaciousn & quite comfortable, with flat screen TV, fridge (stocked with fruit & water free of charge), and a fan (essential as London was experiencing a heatwave when I arrived!!). A breakfast of cereals, fruit, toast & eggs was served in the lovely basement restaurant. While its low prices may appeal to backpackers, I felt comfortable and welcome at the hotel, despite being a middle aged British woman. Most of the guests I saw at breakfast looked to be either people about to go to work or couples / older families. The staff locked my bag in a cupboard on my final day while I explored the city. A very friendly and comfortable place to stay near Waterloo.

A little road noise at night....but there are rooms facing a quieter road which you might be able to request when booking.

In a quiet area so there was no outside traffic noise that hotels usually experience throughout the night.

The shared toilet space was really small - there wasn't even enough sink space to wash my face. Also, it is a fair walk from any of the surrounding tube stations, and is thus not very convenient to get to.

The Bridge Hotel is very central and it is close to the bus and tube network thus enabling easy access to all parts of London and even further out.
