Bonham Hotel Edinburgh - 爱丁堡

Comfortable hotel in a good location close to the city centre, rooms are clean and the staff are very pleasant in particular the staff in the restaurant.

In fact, it was peacfully quiet due to the location.

The location is great - on a quiet square but within walking distance of the city centre and very near Haymarket station.

To transfer from Edinburgh airport to the Bonham we got the airlink bus service.

Located in the New Town, quite near Dean Bridge, it was about a 10-15 ride by taxi from Waverly train station, depending on the traffic.

Huge room with flat screen tv, two armchairs, huge bed, spacious en suite, Molton Brown toiletries were a bonus!

1) - spacious with a big comfy bed, thick curtains that blocked out the light and, up its own staircase, a lovely panelled bathroom with a huge copper slipper bath (and nice fluffy towels!

Whilst ours was well-equipped (nice bathroom, great bed linen, mini bar, internet access, flatscreen tv etc) the decor was quite bland compared to other boutique hotels.

The room was lovely - big very comfy bed with good quality linens, fabulous window with great view over Dean Village, and heavy curtains that completely blocked out the light (v.

The room was beautifully decorated with a very large comfortable bed, and the Molton Brown toiletries in the batchroom were an added bonus.

The breakfasts are delicious and the restaurant is exceptionally good:very tasty food and good (but not excessive) portion sizes.

I would highly recommend the nearby Dusit restaurant in Thistle Street for trendy Thai food; and Rebus fans can visit the Oxford Bar on the way.

The reception, restaurant and lounge were also great, as was the breakfast.

The Restaurant staff are poorly trained and, on a number of occasions during breakfast and dinner, took incorrect orders and delivered the wrong meals to tables.

We had dinner at the restaurant which was faultless as was breakfast the next day, perfectly served.

The staff on the front desk made things easy by taking our car keys and carrying out the "chore" for us,also helping our party by bringing in our luggage,all little extras that helped our trip be one to remember for ever.

When we checked in, the reception staff were wonderful and very efficent, it seemed that nothing would be too much trouble.

The hoel has easy access to the city everything was in walking distance, attentive staff were most helpful and used room service for breakfast was on time.

Excellent service in all areas, stylish appearance of the decor and we were met by a lovely young man at reception called Matt.

The food in the restaurant was delicious and I thought reasonably priced for a hotel of that distinction,we were informed that there was car parking at the rear of the hotel.

Car parking was a problem only on a Saturday night but I double parked and left the keys in reception.

There is now on site parking, available on a first come basis, which was not available years ago and detered us from staying here as on street parking in Edinburgh is very expensive.

Pleasant staff, spotlessly clean bathroom.

The room we had was a King Size standard room, which was spacious, clean & warm.

The room was spacious and comfortable and was always clean when we came back.

The bathroom was spotless and came with two bathrobes plus Molton Brown shampoo and soap.

The room was large, clean and very quiet, with thick drapes that foiled light and sound: when closed, we could scarcely believe we were in a large city.
