Charlotte Douglas International Airport lies on the west side of town and within easy reach. Sprinter bus line connects the airport to the Uptown. Interstates 85 (northeast-southwest) and 77 (north-south) run through Charlotte.

Getting around

The hotel has just gone through a renovation and is very clean and modern, service is good as well.

Rooms and elevators seem old, rude bar staff have no idea to treat guests.

Inexpensive in comparison to other hotels in the area and excellent staff. Good selection of channels on television.

Lobby furniture very worn and shabby, elevators old. Hard pillows, dirty towels everywhere and poor breakfast. Menu items not available.
