I came here for 3 nights and had a wonderful stay. I got a complimentary breakfast with yogurt, good coffee, the hard boiled egg. I stayed here before, always elegant and bright rooms with a view. Everything was great, nevertheless a few employees were not very welcoming. The setting was marvellous, next to shops of downtown Berkeley, and California.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The hotel was clean and well-maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was perfect, right next to the university campus and within walking distance to shops and restaurants on Telegraph Ave & Shattuck Ave. We really enjoyed the beautiful public areas of the building, which had a neo-gothic design reminiscent of a cathedral. The hotel facilities were great, including a stunning swimming pool with gothic windows and an arched ceiling.
There was nothing we didn't like.
