Bell Hotel Thetford

Great location and handy Hotel for the area.

I liked the location right at the heart of a pleasant historic town and this hotel is not bad.

Great location in the middle of Thetford and not a bad place be any means.

Central location, historic town and walking distance of shops for forgotten items.

Very good location in the town centre and a lovely hotel steeped in history.

The room was clean and tidy,but unfortunately the bathroom badly needed updating-the bath was badly stained with water marks!

All the continental stuff had gone, the staff were extremely helpful and friendly, loved the bed stayed in room 101.

As there weren't any no-smoking rooms at the standard rate, we decided to pay £115 B&B for a (non-smoking) four-poster bed.

Moreover the bed was comfy, food was good.

Also the bed was comfortable, in to the bar were the beer was just fantastic and food was excellent as we dined there for the two nights.

Restaurant and bar meals were excellent and not too expensive.

The food in the restaurant was very nice, and breakfast the following morning was good too, though service was very slow.

Drink at the bar was reasonable, breakfast was great.

The bar kept good Ales, the breakfast itself was very nice.

Furthermore the comfortable bar serves real ale and breakfast was excellent.

In addition good reception staff and the positives - receptionist was friendly.

The staff are very helpful and i particularly like being able to get room service without having to pay extra for.

The staff on reception were helpful and friendly although I feel that a smart uniform would of given a better first appearance.

The welcome at the reception was warm, the staff were nice enough and the room was clean and tidy.

Found the idea of them all 'gathering' in the lobby (marked by a bronze plack) each morning quite moving in a funny sort of way.

Rooms - indeed the entire hotel - is spotlessly clean and his staff are just brilliant.

Friendly service balance this, lots of comfortable public rooms to relax and the sheets are clean.

The hotel itself was lovely, the staff were polite and helpful, our room was very nicely furnished and clean.

Altogether a very pleasant over night stay, the staff were all friendly and attentive, the rooms was lovely and clean.

The price was good, the staff were friendly and bathroom was clean the radiator was on.
