  The room and the view from its window were magnificent, the staff were courteous, and the pool and hot tub were a welcome relief at the end of the day. The towel rail in the bathroom was on for too long at the wrong time and the breakfast was disappointing.

  Central location, great stay and the staff were polite, friendly and professional. The showers went from boiling hot to cold to hot again and the restaurant food was lovely, well presented.

  The room was in a very good location overlooking the river and i liked the hotel was spacious. The staff were very friendly and helpful, possibly the most comfortable bed that ive stayed in, all the food was magnificant, including a delightful breakfast.

  A perfect location along the embankment of the river ouse, a warm welcome and the staff were very attentive and friendly. Our rooms were traditional and full of charm, the food was just wonderful.

  In all a very nice stay, freindly staff and receptionist friendly. Comfortable and clean rooms, poor food, great pool and spa.

  Unfortunately there aren't many decent alternatives in the area, prices too high and no fresh fruit.

  Very pleasant hotel in a good location and wonderful Customer Service. Comfortable beds and the bar staff were really friendly. The food was superb.

  A very lovely style of hotel and wonderful staff. Clean bathroom and great bar service. I am used to thick comfortable mattresses, good food and nice Spa.

  The decor was pleasant, the bed comfortable and the room/bathroom/linen spotlessly clean, staff were fantastic. The actual food was very good.
