          Absolutely loved our stay at the historic bealll mansion in Alton, great rooms and we also selected the basic continental breakfast. We ended up eating dinner at chez marilyn, and the food was wonderful.

          Perfect from the quiet atmosphere to the choc and complimentary brandy in the music room. Great food cooked to perfection and reasonable prices.

          The location and restoration of the mansion are excellent, to include the lovely period furnishings, just a short drive from the Lewis, the Beall makes for a great place to stay any time of the year. The house is amazing, the Beall Mansion is beautiful and the service was the best one could hope for, the furniture is quite gorgeous and striking. The chocolate bar is wonderful, the chocolate buffet is delicious.

          Nice place for a getaway, the house itself is superb and one of a kind, the staff is amazing. The bed is truly wonderful, the chocolate buffet is impressive and the best French toast ever.

          The peaceful atmosphere was relaxing, service was friendly and the owners were wonderful and were helpful in any way possible. The bed was amazing, the 24 hr chocolate bar and beverage bar was great as always, the morning continental breakfast was excellent too.
