Bay Hotel Cape Town - 开普顿

Relaxed in Camps Bay, good restaurants nearby and the location was perfect.

Great room, great service, great food and great location.

The location is stunning, the beach a delight, the local food exceptional, the hotel fit for purpose.

V&A is easily accessible via hotel taxis.

We were, however, an hour late getting to the airport for our flight home on New Year's Day - Camp's Bay was gridlocked and as you're on the main strip you are kind of stuck!

When we returned to our room, fresh rose petals had been scattered on and around the bed and complimentary bath salts and soaps left on the dressing table.

It had a great comfy bed and little sitting area and a nice big bathtub (which I love).

The room was split level with a small lobby area leading into the bedroom with the bathroom just to the right.

We did get bubbly and cake on arrival but it's the little things - the toweling robes were old, the toilettries nothing special, the expensive sea facing room tiny and the bathroom not good at all (tiny and old - the shower looked DIY).

Very comfortable bed, excellent food and spa also great.

The hotel has an excellent restaurant with a wide selection of dishes on the menu and a good wine list, all at remarkably attractive prices which we found to be at least 15% less than the V & A Waterfront restaurants a mere 8km away.

On our first night we ate in Tides Restaurant and both food and service were out of this world even though there weren't many people eating in the restaurant that night.

The breakfast was included in the restaurant and was just wonderful.

Yes, the staff are great, the breakfasts good ( apart from the last day my partner had a hair in his cooked breakfast), the pool area fab.

Tides restuarant(hotel's restaurant) had great service and great food.

Reception, bar staff, room service, housekeeping, pool attendants and restaurant were all so pleasant and couldn't do enough for us.

Agree hotel has good location, staff service, food, pool, and staff, but room rate is high for what is offered, so really a solid 4 stars.

Some recent renovations to the lobby and outside pool areas have been good.

Outside pool areas have been good and camps Bay is a very lively place.

The balcony overlooked the pool, beach and mountain.

The rooms are standard 4* hotel rooms, clean, tidy and spacious.

We had a sea/pool view room which was spotless and a good size.

The bathroom had obviously recently been given a coat of paint and a tidy up but it felt pokey and a bit of a let down.
