Albert Saint Inn Stratford

Great location, so we looked for the best located hotel and lots of young friendly staff.

Lots of great restaurants nearby, good location and the pictures on the hotel's website were nice.

Great location, close to the Avon Theatre.

I have stayed at the Albert St Inn now over the last 2 years with new management, and also previously under old management, becauese of the great location, the very downtown core.

The location is great and the front desk staffed seemed pretty nice.

The bathrooms can be smaller depending on the room you get , but outside of that, the most important thing to me is a great location and a good sleep in a fresh bed, and the Albert St.

It was very elegant, amazing bed, a living room area, and modest wash facilities.

The only exception was the flat screen TV and the bed.

The rooms are modest in amenities, but very clean, new beds, duvets etc.

The rooms are small and need work; the bathrooms are small but clean.

I contacted the Albert Street Inn in Stratford because I had heard that the restaurant attached had won the best service and food in Stratford as voted by guests.

We dined at the connected restaurant Avoca and had one of the best meals I can remember having in Stratford.

The restaurant next door (Avoca) is run by same people and was popular during evening meals.

The promised 'light breakfast' in the lobby is a plate of warmed over mini croissants, 4 inches in length and doughy.

No breakfast to speak of -- a rickety table with some coffee and a box of store-bought muffins.

I contacted the front desk services and informed them of my evenings plans and booked the Tom Patterson suite.

Location is great, the decor is simple and the front desk staff are courteous and professional.

The hotel has limited front desk service; from approximately 8AM till 9PM.

The front desk staffed seemed pretty nice, but it's odd (for me anyway) to not have any staff available during the evening/night.

Note:they only have 9 parking spaces and sell them on booking.

Parking requires coins in the meter, the hotel closes at 9.

No parking – I didn’t know this until read traveler reviews from Trip Advisor the day before our trip, so we had to drive around try to find a parking spot that is not too far from the hotel.

The rooms are comfortable, the attached restaurant is good and suddenly three maids burst in ready to clean.

Adequately clean but still very worn and dingy, including the bathroom.
