Adolphus Hotel Dallas - 达拉斯

The location is great for the JFK sights, located right in downtown is a very attractive hotel and the staff is affable at their best.

Great location downtown, close to Cotton Bowl.

I picked this hotel the first time because of the location (the downstairs lobby connects to my company's Dallas office, convenient to say the least).

I appreciated having a radio strong enough to pick up the local NPR station, this sounds like a small thing but you don't always get that.

Also, we had to fight with the cab driver that took us back due to my friend throwing up in his vehicle.

The bedroom area, these two areas are separated by a waist high marble topped wall, has a king sized bed with an armoire with a large TV and DVD player and a writing desk and another chair with an ottoman.

The bed and linens were great, but the TV was small, and in a strange location in the room, so it could hardly be seen from the bed.

Our room was really nice, with two beds, a sitting area, a desk area, and nice bath.

The rooms were also very quiet and the bed and linens comfortable.

I'm a business traveler so I measure things by clean, fast internet, thick towels, good bed, and warm water.

The building is shaped like a microphone and the sphere on top (about 50 floors up) containing the bar & restaurant revolves so you can see across the whole city, very pretty at night.

Most of the restaurants in that area only offer lunch service, such as Jason's Deli and Galilee.

Service are good, the fabrics on all the furniture are beautiful and the food is fantastic - equal to any three-star Michelin restaurant in Paris.

There is a fine dining restaurant on property which is closed on Sunday and Monday nights, which was most disappointing since those were the nights that I stayed.

We didn't eat in any of the hotel restaurants as we wanted to eat out due to only being in town for 4 nights but there were 3 to choose from should you so wish to.

We used their car service to see the Dallas World Aquarium, I highly recommend this attraction, and to go to dinner one night at a restaurant the concierge got reservations for us at called Dakota's.

The Adolphus is a classic case of someone taking a grand old hotel, the staff is extremely nice and room service personal are consistently professional.

Hotel staff is excellent, service is great and the rooms have an incredibly light.

The lobby has Old World charm, and the tiny elevators with wood and mirror inlays are lovely.

My only complaint is that the elevators run a bit slow, but with a full hotel, this was to be expected.

As mentioned before the lobby does have two different levels, connected by an escalator.

Since I was on business, the internet was vital and it was nice to (finally) have wireless that didn't cost $$ per day to access.

Even the maid who came to clean my room asked very sincerely how I was enjoying my stay and wanted to know if she could do anything for me.

The rooms are very spacious, clean, and very nicely furnished.
