Thalassa Village Skanes Monastir

Manastir ,ne pas se laisser pièger par les taxi qui en profite prendre un taxi collectif ,blanc ou le bus qui passe juste devant l'hotel.

Firstly, the hotel complex is not within walking distance to either Monastir or Sousse, nor easily accessible to public transport so any experience of the "real" Tunisia either requires signing up to commercial excursions or relying on taxis.

My advice would be to remove the towels from 'reserved' beds and use them, this might encourage the hotel to actively stop people from diving out of bed at 6am then go back for a long lie in.

The rooms were clean, perhaps begiining to date a little, but more than adequate and the heating/air conditioning system in each room was a real Godsend as at this time of year the temperature really plummets at night.

Just go back to bed after you have put your towels down and then turn up later…everyone else does!

I laid towels down at 09:30 and had no problem finding a bed but this was off-season.

The rooms in bungalow type accommodation were lovely and ours had the biggest bathroom I have ever had in a foreign hotel.

Restaurants - There is a buffet restaurant and 4 ala carte for the evenings.

The food is nothing special - pretty much the same as whats in the buffet restaurant but on a set menu so you have no choice what you're eating.

There are 4 speciality restaurants and you can book these once during your stay, we tried 3 of them and they were all fine, waiter service and nice food, no choice though and no air con.

Nice to get a change of scenery but dont expect top restaurant food or you will be very dissapointed.

I would recommend - esoecially if you have kids - go to the beach bar for lunch.

The hotel employs a wealth of staff we found to be warm, clean and the maid service was excellent, the rooms in bungalow type accommodation were lovely.

Reception staff were great, rooms were really clean and the food was lovely.

Hot beach-type holiday preferably all-inclusive, our welcome was warm the reception area is clean and cool, rate above average cos the staff is really friendly.

Reception staff were great and offered us the room in Sardinia next to our friends as it was still available.

The indoor pool is spotless, in fact I defy anyone to find any dirt in this place as the staff work very hard all day every day cleaning, tending to the garden and generally making sure this hotel is of a high standard.

The food was excellent and the swimming pool was immaculately clean.

The staff were lovely, the rooms were spotless infact all the resort was and the international buffet restaurant had a large selection.

The room was very clean, breakfast was great and drinks - I found the local spirits to be VERY strong.
